To be allowed to keep my 3D printing hobby, some compromises had to be made. The printer is set up in a storage closet where I’ve added insulation around the door frame to reduce noise as much as possible. It’s not super spacious, but there’s enough room to make it work.
What really takes up space, though, are the filaments – and I didn’t fully trust the shelves they were sitting on. So I printed these filament racks instead. They seem really solid and do a great job. Since they build from the floor up, I’m no longer worried about the shelves collapsing.
